Founder
Michael G Miller
Michael G. Miller is the founding partner of the law firm Redmins, specializing in recovering losses for investors and cryptocurrency users worldwide. Unlike lawyers at many large law firms, David does not charge by the hour. He almost exclusively uses a contingency fee model for his cases. If you are on a contingency fee basis and ultimately fail to recover all or part of your losses, you will not pay any fees.
While Michael has handled a wide range of commercial litigation cases throughout his career, for the past decade he has focused on providing legal services to individual clients who have suffered losses due to fraud or other deceptive practices. When you suffer losses or are owed money, Michael will help you recover what is rightfully yours. Lawyers and corporations often attempt to exploit loopholes in financial regulations. Michael is dedicated to helping clients recover what is rightfully theirs.
Michael is a Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent “AV” rating (generally considered the highest accolade in the legal profession for a lawyer's ethics and legal competence), and he tirelessly fights for his clients' rights, securing over $100 million in winnings in the past few years alone. For his outstanding achievements, Michael was awarded membership to the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an honor bestowed only upon lawyers who win multi-million dollar judgments or settlements—a distinction held by less than one percent of lawyers nationwide.
Michael has led numerous investigations on behalf of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) into misconduct by executives and directors of several closed financial institutions, as well as by directors and officers liability insurance companies, fiduciary insurance companies, lawyers, accountants/auditors, real estate appraisers, and brokerage professionals related to the collapse of certain closed financial institutions.
Michael is rapidly becoming one of the top lawyers representing victims of cryptocurrency exchange fraud in the United States, helping investors who have been defrauded after investing in digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. In 2015, Michael was appointed lead counsel in the class-action lawsuit against the now-defunct cryptocurrency exchange Cryptsy, leading the effort to secure settlements and judgments exceeding $40 million for members of the court-certified Cryptsy customer class-action lawsuit. Currently, class-action lawsuits against Kraken and other cryptocurrency exchanges are ongoing, and Michael will continue to advocate for individuals harmed by fraud perpetrated by members of the cryptocurrency community.
In addition to his active litigation work within the cryptocurrency community, Michael is also actively involved in local community affairs. He serves on the board of directors of one of South Florida's largest residential communities, the Broward County Jewish Federation, and is a member of the federation's National Youth Leadership Cabinet.
